Privacy notice
Who operates this site
This website, socialid.studio, is operated by SocialID Studio Inc., a Canadian company located at 6A-170 The Donway W, Suite 1004, Toronto, ON M3C 2E8. We are responsible for the personal information collected through it.
What we collect
The only personal information this site collects is what you type into a form: your name, your email address, and optionally your company, phone number, the service you are interested in, your website address and your message. The newsletter form collects your email address only. We also record the language and page you sent the form from so we can reply properly.
Why we collect it
We use this information for one purpose: to reply to you about the project, quote, review or call you asked for, or to send you the newsletter you subscribed to. We do not sell it, rent it or use it for advertising.
Who processes it
Two service providers help us run the site. Cloudflare hosts the site and protects it from attacks, so your request passes through its network. Resend delivers form submissions to our mailbox as email. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising pixels or third-party scripts. Your appearance choice (colour and light or dark mode) is stored in your own browser’s local storage and never leaves your device. The embedded map on the contact section is loaded from Google Maps only when it scrolls into view, and Google’s own privacy terms apply to that frame.
How long we keep it
Form submissions arrive as email in our studio mailbox and are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and, if you become a client, to run the project. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Write to connect@socialid.ca and we will answer within thirty days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. Substantial changes will be noted on this page.
